Guided tour to Alaska – Small groups
During the summer of 2019 we’re offering 6 guided trips for small group, to Alaska. All 6 trips to Alaska will follow a very unusual rout for 14-15 days, divided between the “Inside Passage” fjords and the Alaskan mainland. The trips’ contents are nearly identical, though the trails themselves differ from one another to accommodate the different seasons.
(Be advised: the small group sizes mean that the groups fill up pretty quickly so make sure to sign up as soon as possible to guarantee your spot on the tour – group size up to 12 pax.)
In addition, this year we are offering, for the first time, a guided trip to Western Canada!
If you are unsure as to which trip to choose you are more than welcome to give us a call! We can go over the different trips and recommend the best one for you.
What makes our trips special?
Alaska is our home turf: it’s what we do best and we don’t send groups to any other destinations. Alaska is definitely a once in a life time trip and as such should be handled by someone who really knows the place.
Small groups: No more than 12 people in a group. The result is that our guides are free to actually guide the trip and can give each participant a personal experience. Another plus is that unlike larger groups, we require a minimum of only 8 participants for the trip to be a GO! Worth it!
Great guides: We might be bias but we would be happy to give you the contacts for some of our past costumers, so you can hear it from them.
Original and high quality trails: That stem from many years of experience on the ground.
Attractions and tours: a lot of them and all at the highest quality. All trips include bear watching, Glacier cruises, scenic flights, hiking on a glacier and many other great activities! You will not be bored!
Interesting companions: most people that go on these trips are seasoned travelers that have seen a thing or two and are looking for a prime destination and a unique way of experiencing it.
Guided tour vs. independent in Alaska
Guidance: a good guide can add s a whole other layer to your experience. On an independent trip you see and experience landscapes, but with a guide you also learn about what it is you are actually seeing.
Peace of Mind: no worries – the trip was prepared for you and the guide takes care of any administration needed while you are free to take in the views and photograph it.
And of course – Company: group trips are a great way of meeting new friends.
